Habitat for Humanity's Women Build program promotes the involvement of women in the construction of Habitat houses. Women-built projects provide an opportunity for women to learn construction in a supportive environment. Women Build works through affiliates to nurture, recruit and train women to build and maintain simple, decent, healthy and affordable homes.
Jackson-Madison County Habitat for Humanity plans to host a Women Build in Spring 2008. To participate in this project or help us to plan this milestone project for our community, please contact our office at (731) 427-7967.
